EPAS junior ambassadors at USP College have elected their youth leadership team after a vote between ambassadors. There were three posts up for grabs.

The post of Lead Junior Ambassador for USP College was defended by Jayden O'Brien (18), who had been appointed to this role by the team in 2024. Jayden successfully won election to retain the post. He has been a European Parliament Junior Ambassador at USP College since joining college in 2022. He is now in his third year of the programme and his third year of study at the college.

Elections were also held to choose Jayden's deputies, one from each campus. The role of Deputy Lead Junior Ambassador for Palmer's Campus was won by Erdem Gultekin (17). Erdem is British of Turkish heritage and is on his first year of the programme and his second year of study at Palmer's. As Jayden's deputy at Palmer's, Erdem will help him organise EPAS events, activities and projects at that campus.

The deputyship at Seevic was won by Sebastian Rapley Mende (16), a first year student who is in his first year as a European Parliament Junior Ambassador. He will fulfil the same role as Erdem but at Seevic Campus. Sebastian is British with German and Guyanese heritage and joined EPAS because of his passion for the European Project.

The youth leadership team will lead the EPAS programme at USP College, with pastoral support and advice by the college's lead senior ambassador Darren Cogavin. The youth leadership team will oversee the organisation of events, activities and projects with the help of other junior ambassadors at their campuses. Stay tuned for more!
