About

Erdem Gultekin has been Deputy Lead Junior Ambassador for USP College Palmer's Campus since 2025. He is British with Turkish heritage and has studied politics, history and criminology at USP College's Palmer's Campus since 2024. He got involved with the European Parliament Ambassador School Programme in early 2025 and was elected as Deputy Junior Ambassador for the Palmer's Campus shortly after.

As Deputy Junior Ambassador, Erdem has been involved in inviting external speakers, including local MPs Jen Craft and Mark Francois, into college to discuss EPAS and take part in democratic Q&As with college students. He has supported other junior ambassadors in organising events and projects and has a keen interest in educating other young people like himself about Europe and the European Union, especially since the United Kingdom's departure from the bloc in 2020.

I am currently a member of the Editorial Board.
