The Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) is a European-wide initiative to support farmers and rural areas across the European Union (EU), to both make farmers more competitive and sustainable. It also helps provide high quality and safe food to the EU's 447 million citizens, whilst also contributing to climate action and preserving various natural resources.

Unified Seevic Palmer's College is one of the oldest educational institutions in the entirety of Great Britain, having been founded in 1706 as a tiny charity school for ten poor children in Grays. It has evolved through the centuries, becoming an esteemed grammar school and two nationally prestigious public schools, before finally transforming into the large college of over 4,000 students that it is today.

Yesterday (17 April 2025), two of our EPAS junior ambassadors, Jayden O'Brien and Erdem Gultekin, attended a trip to the Thameside Complex in Grays to see an exhibition marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day, which entailed the Nazi German surrender to Allied forces on 8 May 1945 and signalled the end of the European theatre of the Second World War later that month.

For USP College's first CPD day of the academic year on 24th October 2024, students from our Palmer's and Seevic campuses joined our ambassadors on an educational trip to Europe House in Westminster, hosted by EPAS UK co-ordinator Asher Jacobsberg, where students took part in fun, educational activities about the European Union, European Parliament and European democracy.

On 2 April 2025, USP College EPAS junior ambassadors and Fashion, Business & Retail students headed to the Vogue: Inventing the Runway immersive exhibition in Lightroom, King’s Cross, London, to learn about European fashion and its history.
